Free Christmas Printables
Thanksgiving is this week! But I can't help start decorating for Christmas! The California giant Christmas tree is installed and lit at our favorite family outing location, Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The stores are filled with Christmas decor, and time just flies by too quick to put off decorating for the holiday any longer!
Do you want those amazing Christmas signs everywhere but don't have the budget to spend on them? Printables are always a great way to add style and be cost effective at the same time. I found these white wood paint-able signs at Michael's craft store at 70% off!
And they are already white and rustic! So I created some designs to transfer to them. And I thought you might want to have them too! These free Printables are available on my website. /shop/accessories. Scroll to the bottom to preview them.
There is something so life giving from the pure childlike excitement my toddler girls have about each holiday. They see this giant tree and say, "Wow! ....It's Christmas!" They are pure and untainted and have faith in Santa Claus and love decorating with me for the holidays. This time is precious and cannot be taken for granted.
You can run to your local craft store and get some wooden signs and print them and transfer them. Or you can print them out and frame them and hang holiday themed wall art.
To transfer them to a wood sign.
1. Print out the Printables
2. Color with pencil on back of design, just fill it with lead all over the design.
3. Place printable with tape on sign and tape in place.
4. Trace hard with a pen the design checking throughout that the lead is transferring.
5. Draw over your pencil lines on your sign with black marker
6. Paint over marker lines and fill in where these is black with black acrylic paint.
Let your sign dry and then hang up on the wall to add Christmas cheer and self DIY project pride to your home.
